To assemble the fish rolls: Lay a pancake on a work surface and place a small amount of the fish filling in the centre. Fold two opposite sides of the pancake over the filling and roll up like a spring rolls to enclose the filling completely.

Instructions to make Fish Rolls:
  1. Sieve flour, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg into a clean dry bowl.
  2. Mix till all ingredient is well circulated.
  3. Add margarine and mix thoroughly.
  4. When it is well mixed, add eggs and mix thoroughly also.
  5. Finally add small quantity of water and mix until it's smooth.
  6. Mould the dough into a ball and cover while you prepare the filling.
  7. For the filling, remove the bones from the fish and put into a small pot.
  8. Add grinded pepper,onions,and a pinch of salt.
  9. Add a small quantity of water and cook till the water is all dried up.
  10. When the fish is ready, mash it with a spoon.
  11. Then go back to the dough, knead a bit, and then cut into parts.
  12. Using a rolling pin and a board, roll out till you get a flat surfaced dough.
  13. Fill the dough with the mashed up fish and roll up.
  14. Repeat process till the dough gets finished.
  15. Then heat up vegetable oil, slicing onions into it for flavour. And add the rolls.
  16. While frying flip the rolls to ensure that all sides get golden brown fried.
  17. When ready, remove and put into a sieve to reduce oil.
  18. Fish Roll is ready to be served. Can be served with chilled drinks or beverages.Enjoy!!!!
